Message from Father
Our Parish is actually the result of a merger in 2003 of three wonderful parishes: St. Peter, Patrick and Michael.
What are we doing at this time? We added a new Parish Center. We now have space for dynamic child, youth and adult ministries. In order to create the Parish center, we remodeled a grocery/furniture store. The upstairs has a hall for 150 people, a kitchen, a book store, other conference rooms and garages for community outreach and festivals. The youth space is a lower level coffee house with its entrance by the river and windows facing the grassy field. We are excited.
All of this is brought to fullness in our beautiful 100 year old church where we are united around Christ’s altar and fed. As you look at the new stained glass window of St. Katharine Drexel you can see that she is moved through the Eucharist to educate African and Native American children. Here we also meet our God, learn throughout life, and be animated to risk loving all of our neighbors.
If you ever wish to speak to me, please call the Parish Center at 920-887-2082 ext. 102.
Again, welcome to the excitement of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Beaver Dam, WI!
